The actress has undergone a major body transformation for her role as legendary politician J Jayalalithaa, in ‘Thalaivi’, and now the star is back in action for her new project. Kangana who has recently wrapped up the shooting of the upcoming biopic ‘Thalaivi’, has now stepped into the shoes of Agent Agni, for her next project ‘Dhaakad’. In ‘Dhaakad’, Kangana will be seen in a badass action avatar, and she has started vigorous training for her role as Agent Agni.
Kangana who is an avid social media user on Monday announced the release date of ‘Dhaakad’. The diva also unveiled the new poster of the movie, wherein she can be seen in an intense and fierce look, with a sword in her hand.
Kangana announced that the movie will be released in theatres on October 1, this year ie the Gandhi Jayanti weekend. Along with the new poster, Kangana wrote, “She is fearless and Fiery! She is Agent Agni India’s first female led action thriller, #Dhaakad, releasing in theatres on 1st October 2021!”.

‘Dhaakad’ is helmed by Razneesh Ghai and is written by Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra. The action-thriller is produced by Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum Films and co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media. The movie also stars Divya Dutta, Shivam Sachin in the pivotal roles.
On the professional front, Kangana will be seen in A L Vijay’s directorial ‘Thalaivi’. The movie also stars Arvind Swamy, Bhagyashree and Madhoo Shah in the pivotal roles. The actress will also feature in ‘Tejas’.
