‘Doctor G’: Ayushmann Khurrana begins shoot of ‘third film’ in pandemic; says ‘summers will be tough’

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana is an outsider who has made a name for himself through sheer merit. The poster boy of content cinema in India, has delivered eight back to back hits in theatres.

The ‘new age hero’ who will be next seen in ‘Doctor G’ along with Rakul Preet Singh, on Wednesday gave an update on the upcoming project. Ayushmann was recently seen heading to Bhopal from Mumbai to start the shooting of his movie. He will shoot for over a month. Today, Ayushmann took to his Instagram handle and shared a monochromatic picture of himself, wherein he is seen wearing a white tee, reading glasses and a face mask with ‘Doctor G’ printed on it. 

Sharing the glimpse of the muhurat shot of the movie, the ‘Bala’ fame actor wrote, “Day 1 #DoctorG This is the third film I’ll be shooting in the pandemic. But summers will be tough. One of the best scripts I’ve ever read. Too excited to collaborate with @anubhuti_k @rakulpreet @shefalishahofficial @sheeba.chadha”.

The movie is produced by Junglee Pictures and it is their third collaboration with Ayushmann. Ayushmann and Rakul Singh will be sharing the screen space for the first time. The campus comedy drama shows Ayushmann as Dr Uday Gupta, and Rakul Preet will be playing the character of his college senior.

On the work front, he will be seen in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, and ‘Anek’.
