From Kareena to Madhuri, B-Town celebs wish SRK on his 55th b’day

The ‘King of Romance’ Shah Rukh Khan who has rocked the industry with his iconic roles, giving every 90’s kid the definition of true love, and who enjoys a global fan base, on Monday has turned 55.

The Bollywood fraternities took to their social media handles, to wish the megastar on his birthday.

Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a picture of the two from their film ‘Billu’ and captioned it,”Happy birthday King Khan… Let’s always have fun dancing. You are the warmest, most gracious superstar we have… Keep soaring srk.”

SRK’s ‘Darr’ co-star Juhi Chawla said,”I plant 500 trees for #ShahRukh on his birthday for #CauveryCalling From co-star, co-producer to co-owner ….dotted with much laughter and some tears, it’s been a long, colourful & eventful journey Happy Birthday @iamsrk”.

Madhuri Dixit Nene said, “Whenever we meet, there’s masti, magic & loads of love.Here’s wishing you a very happy birthday @iamsrk Stay safe & hope to see you soon.”

Shah Rukh has appeared in more than 80 Hindi films, and has received 14 Filmfare Awards. He has also been awarded with the Padma Shri, and the Government of France has awarded him the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Legion of Honour.

SRK began his career with appearances in several television series in the late 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with ‘Deewana’.

The actor is also the co-chairman of the production company Red Chillies Entertainment, and is the co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
