Get ready to fall in love as Ayushmann Khurrana & Vaani Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ will hit the theatres in July!

The makers of Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor starrer romantic drama ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ on Friday announced the release date of the movie.

The Abhishek Kapoor’s directorial is all set to release in theatres on July 9, 2021. Taking to their official Instagram and Twitter handles, T-Series shared a picture wherein, the leading man of the movie- Ayushmann can be seen posing with Bhushan Kumar, Pragya Kapoor and Abhishek Kapoor. The ‘Bala’ fame actor is looking dapper in his new avatar, that he will be portraying in the movie. 

Along with the stunning photograph, T-Series wrote, “Abhishek Kapoor’s #ChandigarhKareAashiqui starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor is all set for a theatrical release on 9th July 2021. A modern-day love story produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Pragya Kapoor’s Guy in the Sky Pictures.”

Vaani also took to her Instagram handle and shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) still from the movie. In the photo, Abhishek can be seen giving some instructions to Vaani and Ayushmann in-between the shots. The diva captioned the post as, “Sugar, spice, and everything nice. Get ready to fall in love #ChandigarhKareAashiqui is all set for a theatrical release on 9th July 2021!”

A T-Series and Guy in the Sky Pictures production, the film is billed as a “progressive love story”. The production on the movie commenced amid the coronavirus pandemic in October, and the team wrapped the film in about 48 days in Chandigarh. The entire shoot of ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ is filmed in Chandigarh in a start-to-finish 48-day schedule. 

‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor. On the professional front, Vaani will be also seen in ‘Bell Bottom’ along with Akshay Kumar. While Ayushmann will be next seen in Junglee Pictures upcoming project ‘Doctor G’. He will also star in ‘Anek’.
