HBD Alia Bhatt: Anil Kapoor sends ‘love & luck’ to the ‘brightest star in Indian cinema’s galaxy’

It’s raining love on Alia Bhatt today, as the versatile actress is celebrating her 28th birthday. The Bollywood fraternity has flooded the social media with heartwarming birthday wishes for the impeccable and one of the most adored actress of the industry, and to join the bandwagon is senior star Anil Kapoor. 

Alia is ruling millions of hearts with her charming persona and flawless performances on the silver screen. The diva has paved her way to success in the Bollywood with her dedication towards the craft and her versatility. Apart from her acting adroitness, the ‘Gully Boy’ fame star enjoys a massive fanbase on the social media, with 51.2 million followers on Instagram.

The powerhouse actress Alia has carved a niche for herself with her choice of movies and spectacular acting skills. Her versatility game is always on point and it is a treat to watch her on the silver screen as she always has something new to present on the table. 

Now on the birthday of the ‘Raazi’ star, Anil Kapoor who will be soon seen sharing the screen space with Alia in Karan Johar’s directorial ‘Takht’, alongside an ensemble cast, penned a sweet wish for the actress.

Sharing a beautiful picture of the birthday girl, the veteran actor wrote, “happy birthday to the brightest star in Indian cinema’s galaxy. I truly believe that you’re destined for even greater things than we have seen you do. Sending you love and luck today and always”.

The ‘Udta Punjab’ diva replied to Anil’s wish and said, “Thank you Sir! This means so much”.

On the work front, Alia will be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy film trilogy, the first of which is named ‘Brahmāstra’. She will then appear alongside N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan in the Telugu-language period film ‘RRR’, and will portray the titular gangster and madam of a Kamathipura brothel in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, a biographical film directed, produced, written and composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. 

Bhatt has also committed to feature alongside an ensemble cast in ‘Takht’, a historical drama directed by Karan Johar. She is also slated to make her production debut with ‘Darlings’, which will mark the directorial debut of screenwriter Jasmeet K. Reen and will mark her reunion with ‘Dear Zindagi’ producer Gauri Khan, while starring her in the lead alongside Shefali Shah.
