Kriti Sanon kickstarts shooting of ‘Bachchan Pandey’, shares pics of ‘1st Day of 1st film shoot in 2021’

Actress Kriti Sanon who will star opposite Akshay Kumar in ‘Bachchan Pandey’, on Wednesday kickstarted the shooting of the movie in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

Kriti who is an avid social media user, took to her Instagram and Twitter handle, and shared some pictures of her first day from the sets of the movie. In the photos, the gorgeous diva can be seen posing with a clapboard with ‘Bachchan Pandey’ written on it. 

Kriti also shared photos with her director Farhad Samji and Warda Nadiadwala. The ‘Raabta’ fame star is donning a casual blue top, denim jeans, and a shirt tied on her waist. Kriti looks stunning in the sporty and casual look as she strikes a pose for the camera with the team of the movie. 

Sharing the happy pictures, the ‘Panipat’ actress wrote, “1st Day of 1st film shoot in 2021!! With the production that gave me my very 1st film!#BachchanPandey Here we go…”. Her post has garnered more than five lakh likes and producer Warda Khan Nadiadwala commented, “Love ya Kritzzzzz”. Ace designer Manish Malhotra dropped a heart in the comment section.

The Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) also took to their official Twitter handle and shared the same pictures. They wrote, “Our exhilarating journey for #SajidNadiadwala’s #BachchanPandey directed by @farhad_samji begins! Send us all your love!”

The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kriti Sanon, Prateik Babbar and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles. Directed by Farhad Samji, written by Nischay Kuttanda and Farhad, the movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. 

On the work front, Kriti will be seen in Laxman Utekar’s ‘Mimi’. The movie will also star Pankaj Tripathi and Sai Tamhankar in lead roles. She will also be seen in an untitled Dinesh Vijan movie co-starring Rajkummar Rao.
