‘Not a Protein Bar kind of person’, says Taapsee Pannu as she gives glimpse of her ‘healthy indulgence’

Actress Taapsee Pannu who will be seen playing the role of an athlete in upcoming sports drama ‘Rashmi Rocket’, is currently in Bhuj for the last schedule of the film.

Taapsee has left no stone unturned to get perfectly into the skin of the character. She has undergone rigorous training for her role as an athlete in the film ‘Rashmi Rocket’, and its proof is available on her Instagram account. The actress kept on giving glimpses of her intense training, strict diet and workout sessions. 

Now on Sunday, the ‘Pink’ fame star took to the photo-sharing app and shared some pictures from the sets of the movie, wherein she can be seen enjoying ‘Protein Energy Balls’. In the photos Taapsee is in the look of Rashmi, and is munching on some laddoos which are approved by her nutritionist Munmun Ganeriwal.

Taapsee described that the laddoos are filled up with the goodness of besan, coconut, nuts, gond and ghee. The ‘Badla’ fame diva also said that she is not a protein bar kind of person.

“Not a Protein Bar kind of person. What works for me are laddoos approved by my superwoman @munmun.Ganeriwal Filled up with the goodness of besan, coconut, nuts, gond and ghee. She calls it the ‘Protein Energy Balls’ and I call it my ‘healthy indulgence’ #rashmirocket #eatingwise #healthyistasty,” Taapsee said in her post.

Her post has garnered more than four lakh likes. Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha commented, “Badi Soni lag rahi hai???? How????”

‘Rashmi Rocket’ chronicles the story of a girl Rashmi and her journey from a tiny village to athletic contests. Directed by Akarsh Khurana and co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand, and Pranjal Khandhdiya, the sports-drama is expected to release this year.

Besides ‘Rashmi Rocket’, Taapsee has also wrapped up the shooting of Vinil Mathew’s ‘Haseen Dillruba’ in October. She has Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Shabaash Mithu’ in the pipeline. The film is the biopic of Indian Women’s Cricket Team captain Mithali Raj. While, Taapsee will also be seen in Aakash Bhatia’s ‘Looop Lapeta’, which is the Hindi adaptation of the 1998 German film ‘Run Lola Run’.
