Actress Taapsee Pannu is currently prepping vigorously for the role of a sprinter named Rashmi, a girl from a village in Gujarat’s Kutch for her next sport drama ‘Rashmi Rocket’, and the star is leaving no stones unturned to get into the skin of the character.
Taapsee has been continuously sharing snippets from the ‘Rashmi Rocket’ shoot diaries, posting photos of herself prepping for her role in gyms and on racing tracks, for a few days now. On Saturday, the ‘Pink’ fame actress took to her Instagram and shared another glimpse of her early morning athletic training sessions from the sets of ‘Rashmi Rocket’. Taapsee shared three pictures in which she is seen hopping, skipping and running respectively.
We can see Taapsee training with Melwyn Crasto, who is an athletic coach for Central Railways. The ‘Badla’ fame star is donning a black tank top, white shorts and pink shoes. Her hair is tied up in a top knot along with a hairband. She captioned the pictures as, “Hop …Skip…Run ..Repeat! #RashmiRocket P.S- those marks aren’t of brutal assault on me but technically only on my muscles.”
Taapsee enjoys a massive fanbase of 18 million followers on Instagram. Her fan army immediately showered love and praises on the post in the comment section, and left them motivated to hit the gym.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana and co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya, ‘Rashmi Rocket’ will release next year. Written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillon, the movie will chronicle the journey of Rashmi from a tiny village to athletic contests. Taapsee will also be seen in ‘Haseen Dillruba’, and ‘Loop Lapeta’.
