One of the promising star of the tinsel town, Sidharth Malhotra who never fails to make heads turn with his cool style and swag, on Saturday has turned 36.
Born in Delhi, Sidharth began modelling at the age of 18. Although he was successful, he decided to quit after four years because he was dissatisfied with the profession. Interested in pursuing an acting career, he successfully auditioned for a film to be directed by Anubhav Sinha. However, the film was shelved, following which he worked as an assistant director to Karan Johar on the 2010 film ‘My Name Is Khan’.
In 2012, Sidharth made his acting debut with Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ alongside Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Sidharth is an avid social media user and enjoys an incredible fanbase of 11.8 million followers on Instagram.
He makes sure to keep his fans entertained with the updates of his professional and personal life. The ‘Aiyaary’ fame actor has a vibrant social media account where he can be seen posting cute selfies, workout pictures, photoshoots, projects and throwback memories.
Now on the occasion of his birthday, the actor is receiving heartwarming messages from the film fraternity and his fans on the social media. One such birthday wish comes for Sidharth from superstar Akshay Kumar. The ‘Khiladi’ Kumar took to his Instagram and Twitter handle and shared a collage, wherein he can be seen posing with the birthday boy.
In 2015, Sidharth appeared in a remake of the 2011 American film ‘Warrior’, titled ‘Brothers’. The movie stars Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles with Jacqueline Fernandez in a pivotal role. So Akshay shared the picture from the promotion of their movie ‘Brothers’. In the throwback photograph, we can see the two stars posing as boxers.

On the professional front, Sidharth will be next seen in ‘Shershaah’ along with Kiara Advani. Helmed by Vishnuvardhan, the film is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra. He will also star along with Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn in ‘Thank God’. The handsome hunk will be seen with Rashmika Mandanna in ‘Mission Majnu’.
While, Akshay will be next seen in Farhad Samji’s ‘Bachchan Pandey’ which also stars Kriti Sanon, Prateik Babbar, Pankaj Tripathi and Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles.
