‘Tejas’: Kangana Ranaut meets Rajnath Singh for his ‘blessings’, seeks ‘few permissions’ for the movie!

‘Queen’ of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut who has recently wrapped up the shooting of the upcoming biopic ‘Thalaivi’ based on political stalwart J Jayalalithaa, on Sunday met the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with the team of her next project ‘Tejas’.

Kangana who will play an Indian Air Force pilot in ‘Tejas’, today met Mr Singh in the national capital and took his blessings for the movie. The actress took to her Twitter handle and shared pictures of herself and the team meeting the Defence Minister. In the photographs we can see the star wearing a pastel pink-coloured salwar kameez along with the mask. Her sister Rangoli Chandel can also be seen in the pictures. 

Kangana said she has shared the script of her movie ‘Tejas’ with the Indian Air Force (IAF) as well and also sought few permissions. “Today team #Tejas met honourable defence minister Shri @rajnathsingh ji for his blessings, we shared the script of our film Tejas with @IAF_MCC as well and seeked few permissions, Jai Hind,” Kangana said in her tweet.

The RSVP Movies also took to their Twitter handle and shared the same pictures. They wrote, “It was an honour for Team #Tejas to meet the Hon. Defence Minister Shri @rajnathsingh ji”.

Kangana replied to the RSVP Movies tweet and said, “All set to fly #Tejas”.

‘Tejas’ is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The story revolves around a daring fighter pilot, played by Kangana.
